DONALDSON, IN – The Charger Men's Basketball team captured a home court win over Kalamazoo Valley Community College Wednesday night, 81-70. This brings the team's record to 18-4 and 8-3 in the MCCAA Conference.
At the end of the first half, Ancilla was able to pull a 12 point lead before they headed to the locker room. Leading for the Chargers was South Bend native Jair Rodgers who put up 25 points followed by teammates DK Fox with 11 and Andrew Jones, Dylan Phair, and Felix Franklyn who each added 10. Felix and Dakwon Brooks led in rebounds, pulling down six each and McCoy led in assists with six.
"Tonight was a good win against a Kalamazoo Valley team that continues to improve," said Charger Head Coach Aaron Butcher. "I thought we played well offensively. Defensively, we have to get better as we head down the stretch."
Ancilla will head to Mid-Michigan Community College on Saturday, February 11th. Game time is set for 3:00p.m.
