DONALDSON, IN – The Charger Men's Basketball Team claimed their fourth straight win, on the road, over Jackson College, 74-60, to raise their record to 20-4 overall and 10-3 in the MCCAA Conference.
Ancilla, who led by seven at the end of the half, opened up the second half of the game on a 12-2 run to go up 17. The leading scorers for the game were Gary Bonds with 26 points and 10 rebounds. Dylan Phair and Jair Rodgers each added 15 points, and Anderson McCoy put up 10 points and had five assists for the game.
"I am extremely proud to be our guys coach," said Head Coach Aaron Butcher. "We had several starters in foul trouble, and lost Andrew Jones to an injury just a few minutes into the game. Our bench energy was off the charts. We continued to compete and picked up the road win. I feel like we are starting to play our basketball of the year."
The team will be on the road on Friday, February 17th, as they take on Grand Rapids Community College in Grand Rapids, MI at 7:30p.m.
