DONALDSON, IN – The Ancilla College women's golf team competed for the first time at the NJCAA Women's Golf National Championship in Braselton, Georgia on May 15-18.
Freshman Taylor Parillo led the Chargers by shooting an impressive 83 on Day 3. Sophomore Stephanie Crist also played well by shooting an 87 on Day 2. "I was so proud of the girls in our first year making the National Championship," said head coach Marc Green. "Playing against the absolute best in your sport is an excellent experience, and this was a great group to lead us forward to being regulars at the National Championship." The team consisted of Sophomore Stephanie Crist (Winamac, IN), Freshman Taylor Parillo (Belton, TX), Freshman Megan LaFontaine (Fort Wayne, IN), Freshman Brittany Taylor (Schertz, TX), and Freshman Hanna Hough (North Liberty, IN). The Chargers played well, finishing 14th out of a total of 32 teams.
