Donaldson, IN – LaPorte High School graduate Austyn Lubiniecki was has signed on to play lacrosse at Ancilla College.
An Attackman from Hamlet, Indiana, Lubiniecky played high school lacrosse for the LaPorte Slicers. Lubiniecky began playing lacrosse his sophomore year at Laporte where he held a spot on the Varsity squad for the three remaining years of his high school career. During that time, Lubiniecki was named team captain for 3 consecutive seasons and was named team all-around MVP his junior and senior years. He also competed in the East vs. West Showcase game.
"I am not only excited to add yet another player to the roster, but I am also excited because Austyn is from Indiana," says Ancilla Head Coach Andrew Gleitz. "Lacrosse is still growing in popularity in the Midwest so it's nice to have a player from the surrounding area join our squad. Austyn's high school accolades are pretty impressive which makes me excited about seeing what he can do at the next level or competition."
"My goal is to be the very best team player that I can be for my new Ancilla lacrosse family," stated Lubiniecky.
The new Charger plans to study Criminal Justice at Ancilla. He is the son of Brie Hardesty and Brad Lubiniecki.
