Kevin Ecenbarger begins his second season as an assistant coach at Ancilla College. Ecenbarger is heavily involved in skill development, local recruiting, and game planning for the Chargers. He brings eight years of high school boys' varsity head coaching experience to the Chargers' bench, most recently as the head coach at Bremen High School from 2006 to 2009. While at Bremen, Ecenbarger led the Lions to a Bi-County Championship in 2008 and a Northern State Conference Championship in 2009.
"We are extremely fortunate to have someone with Coach Ecenbarger's credentials on staff," said head coach Greg Neeley. "His background as a head coach is very valuable to us as we build our program."
Ecenbarger is a graduate of Fremont High School and received his Bachelor's degree from IPFW. He, his wife of eight years, Jennifer, and his son, Brody, reside in Bremen, where he teaches biology at Bremen High School.
