[Volleyball] Lady Chargers Volleyball Signs Brooke Hankinson-Barbary

KOKOMO, INDIANA --The Ancilla College volleyball team has added another recruit to their line-up with the signing of Brooke Hankinson-Barbary from Taylor High School. Hankinson-Barbary will join the Chargers as a setter and right-side hitter starting in the 2012-13 season.

BATTLE CREEK, MICHIGAN – The best season in Ancilla College softball came to an end at the NJCAA Region XII District G Tournament. Ancilla split a pair of games on their final day, beating Jackson Community College 8-1 and losing to NJCAA #12 Owens Community College 5-3.

BATTLE CREEK, MICHIGAN – For the first time since 2005, the Ancilla College softball team qualified in the Region XII District G Softball Tournament. The Chargers opened up the tournament as the #5 seed and defeated #4 seed Grand Rapids Community College by a score of 6-0. The Chargers then advanced to play #1 seed and NJCAA #10 Kalamazoo Valley Community College and lost 11-3, dropping them into the losers bracket.

DONALDSON, IN – The Ancilla College Charger baseball team found itself in a drawn out battle at home on Tuesday in a double header against the Muskegon Community College Jayhawks. The Chargers lost the first game of the day after 12 innings, 4-2, while coming back in the second game of the day with a 3-1 win.
