MCCAA All-Conference Baseball Teams Announced

With the regular season having concluded just over two weeks ago, the Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA) has come out with their MCCAA All-Conference teams. Four total Charger Baseballers represent Marian Ancilla on the teams. Below is a look at the four, along with their accomplishments from this season.

Owen Negron - Negron earned Second Team All-Conference Honors in the MCCAA's Western Conference, plus he was named to the Western Conference's All-Freshman team. The Redshirt Freshman from Loiza, Puerto Rico, was the Chargers' most consistent hitter and best power hitter all season. Negron hit .320 at the plate, he roped 6 doubles, and he had a team high 4 home runs, to go along with an impressive 35 runs batted in over 43 games played.

Evan Lanphier - Lanphier is the first of three Chargers to be named Honorable Mention All-MCCAA Western Conference. The 6-4 Sophomore from Cascade High School saw time in the field and on the mound in 2026. At the plate, he hit .310 with six doubles, a triple, a home run, and 14 runs driven in. On the mound, Lanphier managed 18 1/3 innings, striking out 15 opponents in the process.

Kaleb Short - Short is the second member of the Honorable Mention All-Western Conference team. Also a Sophomore, like Lanphier, Short spent time in the field and on the hill. As a hitter, the River Forest High School graduate hit a pair of doubles and a triple in limited at-bats. As a pitcher, however, he completed 46 2/3 innings, he struck out 51 batters, and he posted a team-best 6.75 ERA.

Jose Paris - Paris is the final Charger who made the Honorable Mention All-Western Conference team. Standing just 5-feet-6, Paris hit .259, with four doubles, a triple, and nine runs driven in. He also stole four bases, second on the team this season. Paris is a resident of Carolina, Puerto Rico.

Congratulations, gentlemen, on your seasons individually!! The entire Marian Ancilla community is happy for you and proud of you!!
