BATTLE CREEK (MI) - The Marian University Ancilla Men's Bowling team showed a 317-pin improvement from their first match of the year on Friday, when they traveled to the Kellogg Community College Invitational. It was the first match for the men's team in three weeks, following a pair of cancelations due to weather.
Freshman Logan Otten had by far the best round of the day, coming out on fire with a 217 opening mark. He would go on to finish second on the team for the day with a 483 3-round total. Freshman Austin Nunn once again posted the best 3-round total for the Chargers, rolling a consistent 504 (168-166-170).
The men are back in action this coming Friday when they head to the Montcalm Invitational in Sidney, Michigan. Then, in middle and late February, they will turn their focus to the MCCAA conference tourney and the NJCAA Region 12 tourney. Please come out and support the team, if you are able!!
