Three Chargers Honored with Postseason Awards

Tuesday afternoon, the NJCAA's Region 12 and the Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA) announced their postseason awards in Men's Soccer. For the Marian University Ancilla Chargers, that means three young men have been identified as award winners. Below is a quick look at those three individuals, along with their accomplishments.

Sophomore Yeffreys Quintanilla earned the most honors, as he was named to the NJCAA Region 12 All-Region Team, and he was named 1st Team All-MCCAA. Yeffreys scored 5 goals and assisted on 6 others in 11 matches this Fall. He is a resident of Elkhart, Indiana, and he came to Marian University Ancilla from the International Soccer Academy of America.

Sophomore Zach Huff and Freshman Jahnoi Moses also picked up all-conference honors. Huff, known for his aggressive defensive style, was named 2nd Team All-MCCAA, despite playing through a leg injury late in the season. Moses scored 5 goals and assisted on 3 others in his first season with the Chargers and was named Honorable Mention All-MCCAA. Huff came to MUAC from West Noble High School, while Moses is a native of Canada, where he graduated from Ajax High School in Ontario.

Congratulations, gentlemen, on your great accomplishments!! The entire Charger community is proud of you and happy for you!! We are already anticipating another strong Men's Soccer season in the Fall of 2026!!
