The Michigan Community College Athletic Association has named their Players of the Week for the week of January 26th through February 1st. Marian University Ancilla Women's Basketball player Annika Davis, a Sophomore guard from Fort Wayne, Indiana, was honored as a co-Player of the Week for the MCCAA's Western Conference.
Last week, in games at Lake Michigan and at home against Kellogg, the 5-6 guard averaged 23.5 points per game, making 16-33 shots from the field, with 6 of them being long range bombs, plus she was a perfect 9-9 from the charity stripe. In addition, Davis added 3 rebounds, 3 assists, and a pair of steals to her efforts, helping the Chargers to a pair of MCCAA conference victories.
