BATTLE CREEK (MI) - Following a 3-week break due to the cancelation of two matches due to weather related issues, the Marian University Ancilla Women's Bowling team was finally able to resume its season at Kellogg Community College's Invitational this past Friday. The Chargers actually posted better scores than their first time out, with a pair of bowlers tying for the team lead.
Freshmen Allison Hohalek and Abby Harmon, both from nearby New Prairie High School, each bowled a 471 for their 3-round totals on Friday. Hohalek had the most impressive round of the day, rolling a 182 third round, while Harmon was the most consistent, scoring in order a 155, a 155, and a 161. Congratulations, ladies, on a nice afternoon!!
The team has one more regular season match, this coming Friday (2/6/26) at the Montcalm Invitational, before getting into postseason play with MCCAA and NJCAA Region 12 matches coming into view in mid to late February. Please come out and support the team, if you are able!!
