Reyes First Fall Athlete to Win Weekly Award in 2025-26

For the first time this Fall, Marian University Ancilla is proud to recognize one of its student-athletes as a Player of the Week award winner. To say that America Reyes came up huge last week is actually an understatement. The 5-2 Freshman was the entire offense for the Chargers in last Wednesday's 4-2 Women's Soccer victory over St. Clair County Community College, as she scored ALL FOUR goals in the match, leading Marian Ancilla to its first win of the season.

The young striker was extremely active throughout the match, attempting nine shots, eight of which were on goal. Her four-goal haul is believed to be the first in the history of MUAC Women's Soccer, and she is likely primed for more big outings. Reyes came to the Plymouth campus from Indianapolis, Indiana, where she is a graduate of Crispus Attucks High School.

Congratulations, America, the entire Marian Ancilla Charger community is happy for you and proud of you!! The Chargers are back in action tomorrow when they head to Owens Community College. Good luck, ladies!!
