KALAMAZOO (MI) - The 2025-2026 season is winding down for the Marian University Ancilla Men's Basketball team, and Wednesday night they made their annual trip to Kalamazoo Valley Community College for an MCCAA Western Conference matchup. The Cougars proved to be too much for the Chargers, leading by 20 points at haltime, on their way to a 113-82 win.

Standing out for the Chargers Freshman Kayden English. The 6-5 wing from Indianapolis has had several highlights during the 2026 portion of the schedule, and Wednesday he came off the bench to deliver a 33-point effort. He was 10-for-19 from the field, 3-for-5 from downtown, and a perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line. Additionally, English added 7 rebounds and 3 assists to his tally.

Fellow Freshmen Omari Evans and Cristian Webster joined him in double figures, scoring 17 points and 14 points, respectively. Evans added 3 assists as well. Rebounding once again proved to be a problem, as Kalamazoo Valley pulled in 47 caroms to the Chargers 23.
